Emily Victoria Solek Memorial Scholarship Recipient
Macy Kerr
2021 Stoney Creek High School Graduate
In 2021, Macy was selected as the inaugural recipient of the Emily Victoria Solek Memorial Scholarship by the Rochester Community Schools Foundation. Given her academic accomplishments and extracurricular activities, Macy was selected among the applicants given her embodiment of compassion in serving and supporting others. She exemplifies positivity and shows passion for helping others both here and abroad. We are proud of Macy’s accomplishments thus far and look forward to watching her develop her talents further as she pursues her college degree at Hope College.

It was a pleasure to personally meet Macy, the recipient of Emily’s scholarship. It is evident that Macy exudes a positive energy deeply rooted in caring for other people. Her talents are impressive and we felt a sincere sense of authenticity in our interactions with her. We compliment the Rochester Schools Community Foundation for their candidate selection for this special scholarship.
